WALKER, Lillie Jane Jeter,
age 98, of Dresden, passed away at 12:18 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, 2010, in Knoxville. Jane was born and reared in Fulton County, Ky. She was a graduate of Murray State Teachers College. Jane was the librarian and taught Latin at Dresden High School for many years. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Dresden. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, John Roland Jeter, who was the father of her daughter. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron McKinney Walker; and parents, William Priestly McAdams and Ina Davidson McAdams. She is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Jeter Britton, and husband, Bill; two grandchildren; two great-grandsons. Funeral service was Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Graveside service was Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. JOHNSON, John T,
age 79, of Knoxville passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 19, 2011, at Loudon Health Care Center. John was retired from the U.S. Army with 20 years of service. He also was retired from The University of Tennessee Campus Police with 29 years of service. He was a longtime member and deacon of Rocky Hill Baptist Church. John was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Shipe Johnson; parents, Russell and Vancie Johnson; brothers, Russell Johnson Jr. and Larry Johnson; sisters, Linda Johnson and Barbara Lane. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Tillery; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two special nieces; sisters, Louise Cook, Joyce White and Lillian Sartin; brothers, David and Kenneth Johnson; several other nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life was Friday in Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Graveside service was Saturday at Highland Memorial Cemetery with full military honors conferred by the U.S. Army. RUBELLI, David A,
age 79, of Knoxville, formerly of Florida, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 19, 2011. David was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he did photography and also was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved to travel with his wife, Louise Rubelli, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his stepson, Robert Kelly. David is survived by his stepchildren, Sharon Cavanaugh and husband, Dan, Charles Kelly; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a cousin. A private service will be held.
