• FirstBank recently welcomed Jerry Greene, Nathan Copeland and Stuart Hunter to its commercial banking team, serving alongside commercial banking president Jim Mosby.
Based out of the Knoxville office, Greene serves as senior vice president and commercial banking team leader, and Copeland joins as senior vice president and senior commercial relationship manager.
• Vulcan Materials Company Dixie Lee Quarry will host a free open house, with an advance ticket, from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 2, at the Quarry, 1716 Everett Road.
