Glarrow, Chamberlain to wed
Pat and Libby Glarrow of Knoxville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany Glarrow, to Austin Chamberlain, son of Steve and Kathe Chamberlain of Shelby, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Robert Mild of Long Eddy, N.Y. He is the grandson of Bill and Betty Chamberlain of Charleston, S.C. The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Farragut High School and a 2009 graduate of Appalachian State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology and biology. She currently is in a PhD program in Anthropology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Shelby High School and a 2009 graduate of Appalachian State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in construction management and a Masters in geography. He currently is a GIS analyst for Arcadis in Raleigh, NC. The wedding ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m., July 23, 2011, at Appalachian Ski Mountain, Blowing Rock, N.C. The couple will honeymoon on the Northern California Coast and reside in Chapel Hill.
