• 18th Annual Herman Gettelfinger Bass Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, on Fort Loudoun Lake. All proceeds benefit Helen Ross McNabb Center and are 100 percent tax-deductible.  Grand prize is $10,000 based on 150 paid boats. • Annual spring tennis leagues for junior players ages 5 to 17 in Oak Ridge begins Monday, April 4. Leagues will include evening and daytime singles and doubles. • Greenways 5K and 2 Mile Walk/Dog Jog will take place beginning at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 26, starting at West High School and running 3rd Creek Greenway. Late and race day registration is $25. • Thirteenth Annual Bearden Baseball Alumni Game, pitting odd year graduates versus even year grads, begins at 4 p.m., Sunday, April 17, at BHS’s Phil Garner Field. • Town of Farragut now is accepting registrations for coed and men's recreational softball teams to participate in spring leagues, which begin the week of April 4 at Mayor Bob Leonard Park, 301 Watt Road. Mandatory captain's meeting to be held beginning at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 24, in Farragut Town Hall, 11408 Municipal Center Drive. Deadline to register and pay is 5 p.m., Thursday, March 17.
