• March 14: A worker at the Best Buy in Farragut reported to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office that an unknown person stole his cell phone from his desk at the business. The victim stated his desk is located by the front doors of the store. The victim told police after discovering the phone missing, he called his cell phone number and a woman answered and he asked how she came to have the phone. The victim stated the woman replied she must have picked it up by accident. The victim stated he asked the woman to return the phone to which she replied she could not because she would be in Nashville. The victim stated he told the woman he was going to call the police to which she became angry and told him not to call the police that she was well known and well respected in the Knoxville area. Police were advised there is video of the event.

• March 15: KCSO was dispatched to Sir Goony’s golf center in response to an alarm. Upon arrival, officers found metal bars had been removed from the front office window. A keyholder arrived and surveyed the scene. It was determined that nothing was missing and there was no more damage.


• March 16: An unknown suspect robbed the Sherwin Williams paint store in Farragut. See March 17 farragutpress.

• March 17: A Lacy Farm Road woman advised police that her company laptop computer had been stolen from her vehicle while parked at a Clover Fork Drive address. The laptop was later recovered in some nearby bushes where it had been thrown.

• March 18: A Wye Drive woman reported to police that her car had sustained damage while parked at a North Campbell Station Road address. The vehicle had been struck in the left quarter panel. The victim had no suspect information.

• March 20: A Wolf Hill Road man advised police that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at a Corby Lane address. The victim stated the car was left unlocked and about $175 in property was missing.
