Ads rip Lenoir

Farragut’s Ryan Barrett (3) battles two Lenoir City players.- Dan Barile/farragutpress
Those young soccer Ads have taken care of business, for the most part, through five games.

Farragut improved to 4-0-1 on the season with a 6-1 District 4-AAA thumping of previously unbeaten Lenoir City (4-1-1) at Farragut Intermediate School field Tuesday night, March 29.

“We've been working really well together as a team, and doing really well getting crosses in and working from the outsides,” senior sweeper Nick Agentis said.

Farragut head coach Wallie Culbreth said defender Tyler Rhone and center-midfielder Carlos Garcia, “The two smallest guys on my team, played the biggest part in this win.”

First-half goals: Christopher Kszos headed in Scott Dresen's corner kick; a 25-yard goal from Emilio Moore.

Second-half goals: Agentis scored from five yards out assisted by a Ryan Barrett free kick from 35 yards; Marvin Mendy's diagonal pass found Andy Quist in the box for a goal; Dillon Landguth's back-heel pass to Logan Heidinger resulted in a goal from 20 yards out; Dresen drilled home a goal from about 30 yards.
