• In recognition of April as Parkinson's Awareness Month Farragut High School Baseball and The Society of Friendly Fellows are combining forces for 2nd Annual National Parkinson Foundation Turn Back the Clock evening fundraiser doubleheader at FHS's John Heatherly Field Thursday, April 28. First game is Oak Ridge versus Gibbs starting at 5 p.m., followed by Karns versus FHS at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. • Green Mile Race at Oak Ridge High School, for children ages 8 through 18, will race one mile around the track between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 29. • 18th Annual Herman Gettelfinger Bass Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, on Fort Loudoun Lake. All proceeds benefit Helen Ross McNabb Center and are 100 percent tax-deductible.  Grand prize is $10,000 based on 150 paid boats.
