• April 13: A worker at the Mr. Zip convenience store reported to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office the theft of two 12-packs of beer. The complainant stated the suspects were in the gas station talking about their ages right before taking the beer without paying for them. The suspects left in a blue Toyota.

• April 13: The owner of Lescotti’s restaurant off West End Boulevard reported to police that the business had been burglarized. The complainant advised police he recently closed the business and sometime between April 11 and April 13 unknown suspect(s) entered the premises and took a Toshiba big screen TV valued at about $500 and a keg of Miller Lite beer valued at about $40. The owner stated that he found the business unlocked and the items missing. He added that six people have keys to the business.

• April 12: Police arrested an East Manis Lane resident after security officers at Kohl’s department store in Farragut observed him placing neck ties down his pants. Another suspect, a woman, escaped from the officers.

• April 12: A Mynatt Road resident reported to police that his personal belongings, including his wallet, were taken from a locker at a fitness center in the 10000 block of Kingston Pike.

• April 12: A Spinnaker Road man reported to police that someone had stolen a trailer while it was parked at the residence. The trailer was valued at about $1,800.

• April 11: Police arrested a McGinley Street woman after Kohl’s department store security observed her picking up a Vera Wang comforter and taking it to store customer service and returning it for about $350 in cash. Upon exiting the store, the woman was taken into custody. Earlier that day the suspect had been caught at the Kohl’s off Washington Pike and given a warning contract in lieu of a shoplifting arrest stating she was banned from all Kohl’s stores in the nation.
