‘Doctor shopper’ nabbed

Claudia Proctor’s husband gazes at her through the patrol car window where she is waiting transport to jail. Seconds later the man would begin screaming at officers who ordered him to leave.- Dan Barile/farragutpress
Quick thinking and a routine computer check by a local medical facility staffer netted the arrest of a woman with outstanding warrants Thursday, May 19, in Farragut.

Jennilyn Williams and Robert Martin, both CSNPs at Campbell Station Primary Care, said the day was routine at the medical office located adjacent to Fresh Market in Village Green Shopping Center.

The routine ended when Claudia Proctor and her husband, of a Blue Springs Road, Elizabeth-ton, address, entered the office and communicated she needed to obtain prescription pain medication.

Williams said she became suspicious when Proctor “asked for a pain medication by name.”
