State bill neuters red-light cameras

A bill signed into law by Gov. Bill Haslam could potentially neuter existing red-light camera laws prompting companies to possibly remove systems. Though the cameras do not stop drivers from running red lights, the cameras do help law enforcement determine fault in accidents such as the one pictured at right. Some presstalk readers have responded to the issue in this edition. Should the governor have signed the bill? Should the cameras be removed?
