Town rejects “The Farm” bids

Every single bid for repairs to The Farm at Willow Creek subdivision came in over budget, Town administrator David Smoak told Farragut’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen Thursday, May 26.

The budget for the project, which would repair The Farm at Willow Creek’s leaking stormwater drainage system, is $800,000.

“When we bid out the project last week, the bids all came in over budget, so we’re asking the Board tonight to reject these bids and we are going to go back out and re-bid the project,” Smoak said.
