Everett Road bids rejected

Town Engineer Darryl Smith dealt a blow to those anxiously awaiting an improved intersection at Kingston Pike and Everett Road during a Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting Thursday, June 9.

But Smith said TDOT recently rejected three bids it had received for the project after controversy on material quotes.

“It will be rebid in August,” Smith said.
