New restaurant to feature Ethiopian fare

Farragut diners now have a bit more diversity open to them as dining options.

Samuel Ethiopian Restaurant opened late last week at 11151 Kingston Pike, the former site of Far East Express, said owner Bayou Aba.

The restaurant serves traditional Ethiopian fare, while mixing it up with a few items many American diners will be familiar with.

“We’re making traditional kitchen stuff. We’ll make chicken and beef and vegetables. And we’ll have rice and turkey, and American things like chicken barbecue and hot wings and French fries,” Aba said.

“We’ll have traditional Ethiopian food and then non-traditional, like turkey and chicken and the barbecue,” he added.
