LaMarche, Smith wed
Dorothy Michelle LaMarche and James Philip Smith joined in Holy Matrimony during a noon wedding ceremony, May 21, held at Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta, Ga.

Father Neil Dhablwala officiated the ceremony.

The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. LaMarche Jr. of Farragut.

A 1982 graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School, LaMarche received a Bachelor of Science degree in financial management in 1986 and a Master of Science degree in industrial management in 1987 from Clemson University. She currently is employed as southeast director of regional sales, for the conference board, in New York, N.Y.

The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Philip Smith of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Smith is a 1982 graduate of Sanderson High School. He is with the Special Forces Green Berets with the US Army. He currently is employed by U.S. Department of State.

The couple honeymooned at Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and now resides in Alpharetta, Ga.


Ruef, Warren tie the knot
Sara Haley Ruef and Kevin Logan Warren joined in Holy Matrimony during a May 21 ceremony held at Carriage Lane Inn in Murfreesboro.

The Rev. Stephen DeFur officiated.

The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Adam Ruef of Plano, Texas.

Sara will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Belmont University in December 2011.

The groom's parents are Maria Ely Warren and the late Brian K. Warren of Knoxville.

Kevin is a 2007 graduate of Farragut High School and a 2010 graduate of Belmont University. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in audio engineering. He currently is employed by Concord United Methodist Church in Farragut.

Maid of Honor was the bride's sister, Kristen Ruef of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Best Man was Michael Roberts of Knoxville.

The bride's wedding party members were her sister, Lindsey Frizzell, of Plano and Caroline Davis of Nashville.

The groom's wedding party members were Jian Zhang and his brother, Lee Warren, both of Knoxville.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and now resides in Knoxville.
