• July 7: A representative of Ingles grocery in Farragut notified Knox County Sheriff’s Office of a suspect observed loading a shopping cart with cleaning supplies and beer then walking out without paying. The suspect left in a green Dodge Caravan.

• July 6: A Gleason Drive resident notified police that someone had taken his keys while he was at The Rush at Canton Hollow Road and Kingston Pike. The complainant stated his left his keys on the water fountain and when he turned around the keys were gone.

• July 5: A Brochardt Boulevard resident called police to report his home had been burglarized while he was vacationing in Florida. The complainant stated a neighbor notified him the home had been burglarized while he was out of town. Upon returning, the complainant called police. Officers observed tool marks on the back door lock of the residence possibly made by a screwdriver or similar tool. Complainant was told by officers to make a list of anything discovered missing.


• July 4: Police were advised by a Weatherstone Drive resident that her purse was taken while she was at Virtue Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The complainant stated the purse was later turned in. However, the complainant’s wallet containing cash, credit cards and ID were still missing.

• July 4: A representative of Advance Auto Parts at Canton Hollow Road and Kingston Pike reported the theft of a fuel tank from his vehicle while it was parked at the business.

• July 4: A Meadow Pointe Lane resident complained to police that his vehicle had been burglarized. Complainant advised nothing was missing.

• July 3: Police were advised by a Treyburn Drive resident that his iPod and wallet were taken from his vehicle while it was parked at the residence.

• July 3: A Saddle Ridge Road resident reported to police that cash and a wallet had been removed from the residence by an unknown suspect. The complainant stated a friend, who is staying with the complainant, reported hearing someone walking inside the house at about 3 a.m. The complainant stated the garage door was open and a door leading into the house was unlocked.

• July 3: Police were advised by a Chestnut Oaks Court resident that items had been taken from the bedroom of a Herron Road address. The complainant stated two unknown female suspects entered the residence pretending to be guests at a party going on at the time. The two are suspected of taking the items.

• July 1: A Shirecliffe Lane resident reported to police that an iPhone, valued at $750, had been taken from under the bleachers at First Baptist Concord. The complainant stated the suspect still is using the phone.

• July 1: A Battlefront Trail resident reported to police that an unknown male suspect took several items from her home including $6,000 in jewelry. The suspect was in her home installing some appliances. After he left the complainant stated she noticed the items missing.
