Hill, Phil to headline Chamber luncheon

Hallerin Hilton Hill will headline Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce’s next speaker luncheon, scheduled for Friday, Aug. 19.

And he’s bringing a guest.

Former University of Tennessee football head coach Phillip Fulmer, currently a partner with Northshore Manage-ment Company and CBS Sports analyst, will be joining him.

“Needless to say, we’d be thrilled to have one of them, much less both of them,” Chamber president and CEO Bettye Sisco said.

The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at Rothchild Catering and Conference Center. Chamber members can buy tickets for $30 until Friday, Aug. 12; non-members pay $40. RSVP by calling the Chamber at 865-675-7057 or visiting www.farragutchamber.com.

Hill is host of a morning radio talk show on Newstalk 100 WNOX 98.7 FM, as well as an author, motivational speaker, trainer and host of a weekly television talk show.

“By his own success story, Hallerin knows that anything is possible. Starting as a temp at WIVK, he became a success himself. And through his morning talk show and television show, he motivates everyone to be better by being grateful for the day and then going out and living that day with enthusiasm,” Sisco said.

“To add to the program, sharing the stage will be former Tennessee Vols coach Phillip Fulmer. What better way to end the week than with these two greats,” she added.

Fulmer was head coach for the Vols for 16 seasons and led them to a national championship in 1998.

Community sponsor of the Chamber luncheon is Tennessee State Bank.
