• July 26: A guest at Comfort Suites hotel off Campbell Station Road reported to Knox County Sheriff’s Office that an unknown man had followed her to her room. The complainant stated she was in the lobby of the hotel looking for vending machines at about 11 p.m. and noticed the suspect sitting in the lobby. The complainant said she then went out to her vehicle and proceeded to her room. A short time later the suspect was knocking on her door. When no one answered, the suspect left only to return and knock on the door again. This time the complainant’s husband answered the door and confronted the suspect. The suspect told the complainant’s husband he had made a mistake and left the hotel toward the Interstate in an unknown type white vehicle. Hotel staff stated the hotel is equipped with cameras. However, only a manager could access the system.

• July 26: Officers responded to a Rockbrook Road residence on a complaint involving the theft of a wheelbarrow. The complainant stated he was working at the residence on July 25 and left the wheelbarrow in front of the residence at about 5 p.m. Upon returning July 26, the complainant discovered the wheelbarrow missing. The wheelbarrow is valued at about $200.


• July 26: A representative of Parkview Senior Living reported to police that someone had thrown a brick through the window of one of the rooms. The value of the loss is about $700.

• July 25: A Rockwell Farm Lane resident complained to police someone had backed a vehicle into his mailbox, causing damage. There were no witnesses. The value of the loss is about $1,000.
