Michael Bryant, a graduate of Farragut High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in corporate communications. He is the son of Karen Bryant.

Michael Hoag of Knoxville was one of eight Wake Forest University undergrad students and ten alumni who worked with a major media outlet to create stories and videos for local news. The project was part of an advanced journalism course completed in collaboration with the Winston-Salem Journal.

Catherine Lea Graham of Knoxville was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2011 semester at Washington University in St. Louis. Graham is a graduate of Farragut High School and is enrolled in the university's Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.

The following local residents graduated from Western Governors University; Eric Branch received his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree, Frank Phillips received his Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Management degree and Aaron Buck received his Master of Business Administration degree.

Neal Robinson of Knoxville, was named to the Spring 2011 Dean's List at the College of St. Scholastica.

Dana Schroeder of Knoxville was one of 35 University of Georgia undergraduates awarded 2011 summer fellowships by UGA's Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities. She and the other students spent the summer gaining investigative experience in a faculty-guided research environment.
