• Aug. 29: Knox County Sheriff’s Office investigators were notified by a Dundee Road woman that some of her jewelry was missing. The complainant stated she had last seen the items a month ago. The complainant stated she has several suspects in mind but no proof. The missing items are valued at about $1,000.

• Aug 28: Police were dispatched to Kohl’s department store in Farragut in response to a shoplifting call. A Cave Creek Cove woman was arrested for attempting to steal a $75 pair of Nike tennis shoes.

• Aug. 28: A Lake Breeze Road resident reported to police that someone had thrown a bottle of Captain Morgan rum through the windshield of his 2000 Audi.

• Aug. 25: A Long Ridge Road man notified police that he had written a check for $8,000 to a roofing company. The check was cashed. However, the roofing company, located off West Teaberry Lane, never showed up to start the job.

• Aug. 23: An employee of Automatic Coin Inc. reported to police that someone stole a Ford Econoline van and $20,000 in SCUBA gear from his St. Andrews Drive residence.


• Aug. 23: A Rockwell Farm Lane resident reported to police that someone had taken his iPod from his residence. The complainant stated that at the time of the theft many workers from his business were at the residence.

• Aug. 23: Police responded to a Brixworth Boulevard residence after the homeowner reported a burglary. The victim advised numerous items were missing from the residence. Police determined entry was made through an unlocked door in an attached garage. Escape was made through the front door.

• Aug. 22: Police were dispatched to Kohl’s department store in Farragut in response to a shoplifting claim. Police arrested a North Ford Road man in connection with the theft of a T-shirt and two neckties valued at about $200.

• Aug. 21: Police were advised by a Gwinhurst Road resident that a white male driving a Ford pickup truck took a case of roofing nails from his driveway. The nails were valued at about $75.

• Aug. 20: A Long Branch Drive woman reported to police someone stole her purse while she was attending a ball game at Farragut High School.

• Aug. 19: Police were dispatched to a Butternut Lane residence after the homeowner reported items missing from his garage. The victim told police he had left his garage door open overnight and discovered his pressure washer and drill missing the next morning. The items are valued at about $400.

• Aug. 19: A 45th Avenue resident reported to police his Freightliner truck was taken from the Petros Stopping Centers parking lot. The truck is valued at about $10,000. There are no suspects.

• Aug.18: Police were advised by a Heathland Drive resident that items from within the resident’s garage were missing. The complainant stated she left the residence with the garage door open. Upon returning, she discovered a set of golf clubs and several tools missing. Value of the loss is estimated to be about $2,000.

• Aug. 18: A Rockwell Farm Lane resident reported to police someone had gained entry into his vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. The complainant stated nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle. However, there were signs the suspect had rummaged through the vehicle.
