Farragut joins greenway branding

• Town of Farragut is installing greenway placards also used by City of Knoxville, Knox County and Alcoa with hopes to make greenways more identifiable for users.

Homeowners take issue with rezoning

• Homeowners in Stonebury Court are taking issue with plans to rezone lots in front of Northshore Pellissippi Storage to accommodate a restaurant, saying the retail development will increase traffic and lead to decreased property values.

Publix coming to Farragut

• It’s official — the 49,000-plus-square-foot “unnamed grocery store” being developed on the Farragut end of Turkey Creek is a Publix, expected to open in late 2012.
