• Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of East Tennessee has named a new executive director, Patricia Robledo.

Endangered Inn for sale

• The Alexander Inn in Oak Ridge, listed on National Register of Historic Places, has been placed up for sale, for an asking price of $495,000.



“Project Tango” parking approved

• In early November, City of Loudon Planning and Zoning Commission approved parking variances for “Project Tango,” an unidentified industry that could locate in an 89-acre lot in the area.



Low-cost airline expands flight offerings

• Allegiant announced new low-cost, nonstop travel service between Knoxville and Las Vegas, Nev., operating Mondays and Fridays.
