Voice your opinion at BOMA meetings

I have been reading all the comments in farragutpress concerning the proposed lighting for Campbell Station Road and realized that all of these individuals think the mayor and alderman will change their minds based on these postings.

However, the mayor and alderman will only change their position on these issues if the concerned parties go to BOMA meetings in person, stand up during the appropriate times provided by the agenda (you must now present a card with your name and information to the Town recorder at the beginning of the meeting to be recognized) and state their concern. The fact that you are willing to present your concerns and verify that you are a citizen of this community gives you a voice and alters the position of the BOMA.

For information on dates of the meetings and the agenda, go to the Town website at www.townoffarragut.org, click on the “Government” icon and then select “Board of Mayor and Alderman” from the pull down list. You will find the dates of the meetings, the meeting agendas and the minutes. The farragutpress also publishes this information in the public announcements section of the paper.

Make your opinion count by attending the meetings and speaking up about your concerns!
