Hendershott, Blair engaged
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hendershott III of Farragut announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christine Elizabeth Hendershott, to Matthew Dana Blair, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blair of Oak Ridge.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Heiner Sr. of Piqua, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hendershott Jr. of Hudson, Ohio.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter McKiernan of Jackson Heights, N. Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Blair of Olathe, Kansas.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Seton Home Study School and a 2008 graduate of Converse College wher she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She currently is attending Vanderbilt University to complete Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2012.
The groom-elect, is a 2004 graduate of Oak Ridge High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Tennessee. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. He currently is in his fourth year of medical school, graduating in 2012.
The wedding ceremony will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 2, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
The couple will honeymoon in Italy and will reside in Memphis.
