• MILNER, Louise A.,
86, of Halls died February 5, 2013 at Brakebill Nursing home following a long struggle with multiple health complications. She was born in Enoree, SC and was predeceased by her parents Charles Frederick and Eula Mae Alexander. She worked in retail sales and management in North and South Carolina prior to retiring and moving to East Tennessee. She had a special love for animals, particularly dogs of any breed, size or shape; they always made her smile. She was very creative and had a tenacious spirit. She enjoyed flowers and plants, as well as watching and feeding the birds and squirrels. She will be missed by her family and friends. The family extends deep appreciation to the Brakebill Nursing Home staff, especially the nurses and CNAs on the Blue, Beige and Yellow Wings and Dr. Cynthia Pearman for the care, encouragement, and love that they provided her. She is survived by her son Jim (Teresa) Lawson of Knoxville, TN. Private services will be held. • GREGG, Jimmy Ray (Jim),
age 69, of Farragut passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at his home. Jim was a member of First Baptist Church Concord and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death October 11, 2012 by his beloved wife, Billie Jean Gregg; parents, James T. Gregg and Lola E. Gregg; brother, Dennis Gregg; brother-in-law, Kenneth Inklebarger and sister-in-law, Laverne Inklebarger. Jim, known as “The Pool Man,” was the owner and operator of Farragut Pool and Spa. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army. Jim is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Judy Gregg; grandson, James Douglas Gregg; brothers, Kenneth Gregg and wife, Karen, Tom Gregg and wife, Lois Gregg; sister, Linda Shelton and husband, Jimmie and sister, Tammy Vick; sister-in- law, Denise Gregg; brother-in-law, Samuel Inklebarger; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary and Bobby Daniel and Nancy and Bill Beeler; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Inklebarger; cousin and caretaker, Deloris (Lois) Gregg Shirk; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 6:45 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2012 followed by Funeral Services at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Jim Waddell officiating. • BUCHANAN, Debra,
age 45 of Farragut, TN passed away February 8, 2013 at her home. Debbie was a graduate of Farragut High Scholl and East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in interior design. She enjoyed scrapbooking, many craft projects and spending time with family and friends. Debbie volunteered countless in the Farragut School system. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Workman. Debra is survived by her husband, Dr. Kevin Buchanan; children, Heather Buchanan, Taylor Buchanan and Jonathan Buchanan; father, Edwin Workman and his wife, Annie; brothers, Eddie Workman and wife, Robin, Mark Workman and wife, Wanda, Tim Workman and wife, Darlene and Richie Workman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Marie Buchanan; brother-in-law, Dr. Greg Buchanan and wife, Alice; many cousins, nieces and nephews and special friends. • BUCHANAN, Dorothy Marie,
age 88 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Dorothy was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church. She was an avid gardener who loved all six of her poodles, each named Napoleon. Dorothy and her late husband Bob, enjoyed extensive travel throughout the world. She was artistic on canvas and also in the interior design of her home. Dorothy had a terrific sense of humor and had many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Buchanan; parents and brothers, Charles Petroski and Joseph Petroski. Dorothy is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Donna Petroski; step-daughter, Mary Lynn Trueter of TX; sister-in-law, Zita Petroski of FL; sister, Julia Moughan; several nieces and nephews, Sheila Bodway and Michael Moughan, both of MN, Christine Sullivan of GA, and John Petroski of FL; neighbors, Jimmy and Sharon Hayes and many precious friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 3 p.m. with Funeral Services to follow at 4 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Rev. David Webster will officiate.
