Scott Shannon’s True Oldies Channel is back!
Following a public outcry in local media outlets after it was dropped, Horne Radio is bringing back Scott Shannon’s True Oldies Channel on WLOD 98.3 FM and WMPY AM 670.
“We decided to go to Scott Shannon’s True Oldies when the program was dropped from 98.7 FM,” Tony Cox, Horne Radio general manager, said.
“There was a segment of the market that was not going to be served, so we wanted to fill that vacuum that had been created,” he added.
Scott Shannon’s True Oldies Channel will kick off Friday, Sept. 3, simulcasting on 98.3 FM and AM 670.
