• In our How the West Was Won high school football preview magazine, which was inserted into last week’s farragutpress issue, there were two errors with Bearden Bulldogs student/athlete identifications.
In both cases, coaching submissions to this paper led to the incorrect identification in the football team roster and senior portrait photo of Chase Ownby (photo).
And in the school’s cheerleading photo, as the last name of sophomore Kyra Rasmussen was misspelled. We regret these errors.
• The last name of Logan Wright, Farragut MAC Eighth-Grade football star on offense, defense and as the team kicker, was misspelled in an Aug. 16 sports story. We regret the error.
