MEDIC has teamed up with Soaky Mountain Waterpark
MEDIC has teamed up with Soaky Mountain Waterpark in Sevierville, which opens Saturday, May 11, to provide donors with one admission ticket, for a successful donation, to this amusement attraction. This promotion will run through Friday, May 10, or while supplies last, at all locations, including the 11000 Kingston Pike location in Farragut.
“Additionally, platelet donors receive a $25 e-gift card and are automatically part of the platelet recognition punch card program anytime they donate,” a MEDIC press release stated.

¡FIESTA ESPAÑOLA!
Amadeus Chamber Ensemble continues its unique, free-admission concert series with ¡FIESTA ESPAÑOLA! at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 711 S. Northshore Drive in Knoxville, beginning at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, May 26.
“The festive one-hour program under the baton of Maestro Brian Salesky features soprano Maria Brea and is devoted to beloved favorites and intriguing rarities by Spanish composers Falla, Obradors, Torroba, Turina and Chapí, along with riveting zarzuela arias,” an ACE press release stated. “Concertmaster Miroslav Hristov will be spotlighted in the bravura ‘A Night in Seville’ by Albéniz.”
