• On May 28, 2016, at around 7:51 a.m., Knox County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a Hammerstone Lane address in response to a fight call. KCSO spoke with victim, a 23-year-old white male, and he said he had contacted a female suspect, a 23-year-old white female, from an ad on Back Page, an Internet website. Victim said suspect showed up and asked if he had any money and he gave her $65 for services of being a companion. Victim said she then walked outside and tried to leave. Victim said he took his money back from suspect and then an unknown white male suspect came out of the other suspects’ vehicle and started fighting with victim. Once victim was able to get away he said that both suspects came at him with a softball-size river stone. Victim said he threatened to go get a gun in his home. Victim went into his home and when he came out an unknown female witness, unknown suspect and female suspect had left the residence. Victim then contacted Knox County Dispatch and while on the phone he noticed that his rear passenger side window and rear window to his vehicle, a 2004 Mercedes ML350, had been broken with two river rocks. KCSO later spoke with female suspect and she was very uncooperative, but she told the same story with the exception of when she arrived. She stated the alleged male victim tried to force himself on her and she tried to leave. Suspect also complained of some injuries. KCSO spoke with a Major Crimes detective and he responded. Knox County Forensics also responded and processed the scene. Rural Metro was contacted but female suspect refused any treatment. Estimated loss is $300.

• On Saturday, May 28, 2016, at around 1:36 p.m., KCSO responded to Kohl’s department store, 11530 Kingston Pike, Farragut, in response to a theft. The complainant stated she had observed the arrestee, a 52-year-old white female, in the store taking various pieces of jewelry and cutting the zip tie tags and security devices off. She then observed the arrestee concealing the items in her purse. When KCSO officers arrested the arrestee, they discovered 12 different pieces of jewelry in her purse valued at $414.97 The arrestee also was in possession of two box cutters and a pair of scissors. The arrestee was taken into custody and transported to the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.

• On May 28 at around 4:28 p.m., a Windham Hill Road complainant advised KCSO she did not receive her debit card back after paying for her food at McDonald’s restaurant, 11205 Kingston Pike. After realizing she did not receive her card she contacted a manager to see if she had left the debit card. The manager, the suspect, advised the card was there and she could pick it up at any time. The complainant advised she got to McDonald’s and the manager had already left with her debit card. Other employees have attempted to contact the suspect but she is not answering her phone. The complainant was advised to contact Teleserve if more information arises.

• On Sunday, May 29, 2016, at around 8:07 a.m., KCSO responded to At Home, 11221 Outlet Drive, Farragut, in response to a shattered front glass door. The At Home store manager, complainant, said she noticed the glass in the front door to the business was shattered when she arrived for work. She stated the door was not damaged the night before when the last employee would have left at around 10:30 p.m. She did not observe anything missing from inside the store. The complainant said the cost to fix the door was valued at $500. Forensics Technician responded to collect evidence.

• On Thursday, May 26, at around 4:40 p.m., KCSO responded to Farragut Hills Boulevard on the report of a burglary. The victim / complainant stated that she has had a couple working for her for about a week doing lawn work, as well as a plumber. She stated that she went to the bank Wednesday, May 25, and took out $300 cash. She then stated that she took out a $20 bill and placed the rest of the cash inside of her car in the glove box. The next day she went to get a pair of her earrings from the jewelry box and noticed that a pair of half-inch gold loop earrings and a pair of one-inch gold earrings had been taken. Upon checking her car’s glove box the cash had been taken. Estimated loss is $560.

• On May 27 at around 9:47 p.m., KCSO observed a red GMC Canyon truck traveling west on Parkside Drive with only one taillight working properly. KCSO conducted a traffic stop and found the suspect, a 33-year-old white male, to be the driver. Suspect provided KCSO with a Virginia identification, which a records check revealed to be revoked. KCSO conducted a records check on suspect passenger, a 35-year-old white female, which revealed that she was wanted in Bristol, Tenn. and Bristol, Va. During the investigation officers located a cigarette pack which contained a baggie of methamphetamine in the passenger floor where suspect was sitting, a baggie of marijuana, a pill and an unknown amount of cash in her purse. Officers located a black and white bag in the floor where other suspect was sitting, which contained scales, spoon with a dissolved pill, syringe and an unknown amount of currency. While speaking with KCSO detective both suspects admitted to selling drugs and the female suspect admitted to buying drugs from the male suspect in the past. Both suspects were arrested.

• On June 1 at around 3:23 p.m., a Kohl’s department store, 11530 Kingston Pike, Farragut complainant advised on May 27 the suspect, a 32-year-old white male, was seen entering Kohl’s and loading merchandise into a shopping cart then wheel the cart out to his truck and put the buggy and items in the bed then took off. She stated he took them without paying for the items and without the owner’s permission. She advised they found his identity from calling other branches and found he had been caught stealing from Kohl’s before. Estimated loss $134.23.

• On June 2, 2016, at 4:53 p.m., a KCSO detective responded to a burglary/force/residence call at a Kingston Pike, Farragut location. The victim stated when she returned home she found the back door had been forced open and the listed laptop taken. This happened in Farragut. Estimated loss is $1,000.

• On June 3 at around 12:10 p.m., a Hickwick Circle complainant advised KCSO that between noon, June 2, and 12:10 p.m., June 3, an unknown suspect entered her back yard of her residence and damaged her patio umbrella. Complainant advised the pole was bent beyond repair when the unknown suspect tried to remove it from its stand. Complainant was advised to call back if anything else was found to be damaged. Estimated loss is $300.

• On May 31 at 5:32 p.m., a Greenwich Drive victim stated to KCSO that he was contacted by his credit union, Covenant Health, regarding some possible fraudulent charges on his Visa debit card. According to the victim on May 31 there were three charges made at the Best Buy located off Parkside Drive in Farragut. He said these were three separate charges. The charges occurred at 5:05, 5:07 and 5:32 p.m. There were two charges of $200 and one at $250. He advised the charges did go through and a total of $650 was debited from his credit union account. He said he actually used his Visa debit card twice on May 31. The victim stated he used it at around 9:30 a.m. at Mountain Oak Vapor and once around 11 a.m. at Taco Bell. He said both businesses are located off Lovell Road. The victim advised he didn’t know if someone working at one of these businesses may have copied or written down his debit card number. According to the victim he has the card in his possession. The victim is contacting Best Buy to see if they can provide any information regarding the purchases. He also is trying to find out if they show a card swiped or if the number was manually entered. The victim will call back if he gets any further information. The victim called back and said he was told by Best Buy that a card had been swiped. According to the victim he was advised the suspect(s) had bought gift cards in $50 denominations. He said Best Buy was going to try to invalidate the gift cards where they could not be used.

• On June 3 at around 1:31 p.m., a Avalawn complainant advised KCSO he had the company utility trailer with lawn-care equipment inside on the road in front of the house he was working at off Candlenut Lane. He stated he had been in the backyard and when he came back to the front saw the unknown white male suspect pull down the gate on the trailer and steal two Redmax leaf blowers from inside. He stated the suspect put them into a beat up looking Hyundai Elantra that had a black strap across the trunk and a white towel covering the license plate. Complainant was advised to call back if serial numbers were located. Estimate loss is $780.

• On June 3 at around 4:13 p.m., a Countless Lane complainant advised KCSO that on May 29, an unknown suspect took an Apple iPhone. The complainant stated he was working at Cotton Eyed Joe, 11220 Outlet Drive, Farragut and placed his phone down at the end of the night and left without it. The complainant advised he used the “Find My iPhone” and it was at 3624 Maynardville Pike, Knoxville, at 5 p.m., May 30. Estimated loss is $920.

• On June 6 at around 12:43 p.m., a Grigsby Chapel Road complainant advised KCSO that between 10 p.m., June 2, and 12:43 p.m., June 6, an unknown suspect gained entry to her unlocked vehicle, a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and stole her wallet and its contents. She advised no damage was done to the vehicle. Estimated loss was $226.

• On June 6 at around 8:31 a.m., a Pony Express Drive complainant advised KCSO that between 6:40 and 6:45 a.m., June 6, an unknown suspect gained entry into her vehicle, a 2012 Chevrolet Impala, and took her Brahmin purse, valued at $500, and its contents including $450 in cash. She advised the vehicle was unlocked and parked in her driveway. There were no serial numbers at the time of report. Complainant was advised to call back with serial number. Estimated loss was $1,400.

• On June 6 at around 8:48 a.m., a Butterfield Lane complainant advised KCSO that between noon, June 4, and 8:48 p.m., June 6, an unknown suspect had stolen her locked vehicle, a brown 2013 Hyundai Elantra, from the Wild Wing Café. She advised she had left it June 4 overnight, but when she returned June 5 it had been stolen. Complainant stated she has both sets of keys in her possession. Estimated loss is $18,000.

• On June 4 at around 12:33 p.m., KCSO patrol division recovered some of a Prince George Parish Drive victim’s listed property from a vehicle after it crashed into a house off Grovedale Drive. During the investigation, it was revealed that the recovered items had been stolen from inside the victim’s vehicle that was parked inside of her attached garage. The garage door had been accidentally left open overnight. All of the recovered items, $125 of an estimated $695 loss, have been returned to the victim on June 7. This is an ongoing investigation.

• On June 7 at around 4:07 p.m., a Wheeler Road complainant stated between noon and 12:10 p.m., June 7, an unknown suspect took her cell phone from her bag. She advised she was at McFee Park when this occurred. She was advised to call back with a serial number for NCIC entry. Estimated loss is $800.

• On June 7 at around 4:20 p.m., a Virtue Road complainant stated to KCSO the listed suspect, a 45-to-50-year-old white male, has been harassing her by phone calls and through Facebook. She advised that her husband picked up some scrap metal from the suspect’s business and now the suspect is saying the complainant’s husband is going to jail for taking it. According to the complainant the suspect gave the scrap metal away. She stated the suspect would not quit contacting her even after she has asked him to stop. She advised he continues to call and make statements on Facebook.

• On June 8 at around 4:37 p.m., a Easthire Lane complainant advised KCSO that between 10:30 a.m. and 4:37 p.m., June 8, she accidentally left her wallet, with her driver’s license and credit cards inside it, at the checkout lane inside the Kroger Marketplace off Brooklawn Street in Farragut. The complainant advised she later noticed her wallet was gone and returned to Kroger to find the wallet had been taken by an unknown suspect. The victim advised she received a notification at 3:45 p.m. stating that her Citi Credit Card, which was inside the stolen wallet, had been ran at a Walmart. The complainant advised the suspect did make a charge of $304.24 at Walmart at 1:44 p.m. The complainant advised she has cancelled all of the stolen cards.

• On June 7 at around 11:36 a.m., a Briarstone Way complainant advised KCSO she found the lights, which were bought by the homeowner’s association, that are around the neighborhood sign were stolen by an unknown suspect. Estimated loss is $1,750.

• On June 7 at around 7:59 p.m., a Cassidy Lane complainant advised KCSO that between 7 and 7:59 p.m., June 7, she found the driver side window of her vehicle, a 2013 Nissan Sentra, had been broken out. The complaint advised nothing appeared to be missing from the inside of her vehicle. Estimated loss is about $300.

• On June 13 at around 2:42 p.m., a Capital Bank, 136 Concord Road, Farragut, complainant stated between March 29 and April 12 the suspect, a 29-year-old white female, wrote 10 checks on her Bank of America account and deposited them into her Capital Bank account via ATM. Complainant advised Capital Bank has a policy where you can draw out the first $200 from a check that you deposit. The checks were for $200 except for two of them, one was for $220 and the other for $250. The complainant advised the Bank of America account she was writing checks on was in arrears and the checks she was depositing and drawing out the $200 on were no good. Complainant advised she spoke with the suspect and the suspect was going to pay back the money she owed, but not the fees, and the complainant advised her they would not take a partial payment. Complainant advised the account was frozen, so she was not able to get the $200 on all of the checks. Complainant advised she owed the bank $1,420. Complainant advised the suspect knew the checks she was writing on her Bank of America account had no funds in them.

• On June 7 at around 10:33 a.m., a Bad Daddy’s restaurant, 11683 Parkside Drive, Farragut, complainant stated to KCSO that between 11 p.m., June 6, and 7:30 a.m., June 7, an unknown suspect made forced entry to the patio area of the business and stole two flat screen LG televisions. Estimated loss and damage is $3,200.

• On June 4 at around 11:47 a.m., KCSO Patrol Division recovered a laptop computer, computer bag and assorted papers from a vehicle after it crashed into a house off Grovedale. During the investigation, it was revealed that these items had been stolen in a vehicle burglary at this residence from a unlocked vehicle. All items were returned to victim. This is a ongoing investigation.

• On June 7 at around 7:45 p.m., a Mingo Way complainant advised KCSO the window on the passenger side of her vehicle was broken out and a Mossimo purse and wallet, drivers license, Social Security card and two debit cards, which belong to her daughter, were stolen from the inside of the vehicle. Estimated loss and damage is $145.

• On June 7 at around 9:20 p.m., a Fantasy Way complainant advised KCSO that between 6 and 6:30 p.m. an unknown suspect took an athletic bag, a purse, clothing, Coach eyeglasses and cosmetics out of the vehicle. The suspect gained entry to the vehicle by breaking the passenger side window. Estimated loss is $930.

• On May 30 at around 6 p.m., the suspects entered Kohl’s department store, 11530 Kingston Pike, in Farragut. The suspects, a 46-year-old white male, a 41-year-old white male and a 22-year-old white male, cut the security devices off of merchandise and concealed the items. The suspects were observed on recorded video surveillance leaving the store to go to an unidentified vehicle in the parking lot and would re-enter the store to conceal more merchandise. Kohl’s loss prevention positively identified the suspects. The suspects worked in concert with the intent to deprive the owner of the merchandise. The total retail value of the merchandise was $1,879.91. The store does have recorded video surveillance of the incident on file. This did occur in Farragut.

• On June 14 at around 3:02 p.m., a West Gallaher Ferry Road complainant advised KCSO that while at the register at Publix supermarket, 11656 Parkside Drive, Farragut, she found an unknown suspect had stolen her Coach wallet from inside her purse. She stated the wallet was in her purse when she entered the store and she is unsure as to when it was stolen while inside the store. Estimated loss is about $420.

• On June 14 at around 4:01 p.m., a Maplewood Development LLC complainant stated to KCSO that between noon and 4:01 p.m. an unknown suspect took the roofing shingles from the front yard at a property off Limerick Lane. He advised a worker may have seen the suspect and suspect vehicle, but at the time of report he did not have that information. He advised the witness works for another company and speaks Spanish. Estimated loss is $2,500.

• On June 7 at around 7:48 p.m., a Woodbury Court complainant advised KCSO that between 7 and 7:10 p.m. an unknown suspect took a Coach purse and wallet, drivers license, insurance card, medical card and currency out of the vehicle, a 2007 Honda Odyssey. The suspect gained entry to the vehicle by breaking the passenger side window. Estimated loss is about $1,130.

• On June 14 at around 7:26 p.m., a Harmon Road complainant advised KCSO between 8 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., the suspect, a 40-to-49-year-old black male, took a Rolex watch and gold Canadian coins from Concord Watch Clock and Jewelry, 11130 Kingston Pike, Farragut, without paying. The complainant stated the suspect asked to look at items in two different cases. The complainant advised she left the cases open accidentally when the phone rang and the suspect reached in and grabbed the items. The complainant advised she has video surveillance. The complainant was transferred to communications for fingerprints. Copy sent to LEIDS for NCIC entry. Estimated loss was $14,000.

• On June 16 at around 11:49 a.m., a Kroger Marketplace, 189 Brooklawn St., Farragut complainant stated at 7:45 p.m., June 10, a white female between the ages of 35 and 40 went through USCAN and scanned a Kroger gift card loading $200 on the card. She said the suspect told the clerk she had forgotten her wallet and had to go back to the car to retrieve it. According to the complainant the suspect left with card and never returned. The complainant stated the card was used shortly after leaving the store. The complainant advised there has been a group of people, males and females, hitting several Kroger locations doing the same thing. She said the suspect did not park close to the store so they do not have a vehicle description.

• On June 16 at around 11:50 a.m., a Kroger Marketplace, 189 Brooklawn St., Farragut complainant stated to KCSO at around 7:50 p.m., June 10, a white male between the ages of 40 and 45 went through a checkout line with a Kroger gift card. According to the complainant the suspect told the cashier he wanted $200 put on the card. She said after the amount was loaded on the card the suspect told the cashier he had left his wallet in the car and had to go retrieve it. The complainant advised the suspect exited the store with card and never returned. According to the complainant the card was used shortly after the suspect left. The complainant said there is a group of people male and females who have gone to several Kroger locations doing the same thing.

• On June 16 at around 12:03 p.m., a Concord Road complainant stated to KCSO between June 11 and June 13 an unknown suspect took her property, two necklaces and two bracelets, from her residence. She advised she believes it is a friend of her nephew’s that took the property and he is known to frequent pawnshops. She advised he recently pawned items, but not hers at American Pawn off Kingston Pike. She advised she did not want to prosecute at this time. She advised she did not know the value for the items listed and could not provide one at the time of report.

• On Monday, June 20, 2016, at around 7:44 a.m., KCSO responded to Autoglass of America, 411 Lovell Road, for a vandalism call. Complainant stated sometime between the close of business Friday and opening this morning someone appeared to have fired a gun through the front window of the business causing it to shatter. No suspect information was available and Xray was called to the scene to document the damage. Estimated loss was $1,200.

• On June 21 at around 8:04 a.m., a Long Ridge Road complainant advised KCSO he found an unknown suspect had entered his vehicle and stolen items from the glove compartment. He stated the doors to the vehicle had been unlocked and no damage was done. Estimated loss was $40.

• On June 15, 2016, at around 11:50 a.m., KCSO was contacted by Pinnacle Security of a theft at Off Broadway Shoes. KCSO made contact with store manager who stated that two white males and two white females had entered the store and that one of the white females had concealed three pair of Nike flip flops into her purse. Suspect exited the store with the two white male suspects and entered into a white Chevrolet Aveo with Tennessee registration. Suspects left parking lot. Estimated loss was about $30.

• On June 22 at around 1:09 p.m., a Foremast Road complainant advised KCSO that between midnight, June 11, and 1:59 p.m., June 16, an unknown suspect took a 2000 Buick Regal vehicle. He advised the vehicle was locked and parked at Campbell Station Park and did not have a spare key inside of it. He advised he has checked with several tow companies to see if the vehicle had been towed. Copy of report given to LEIDS for NCIC entry. Estimated loss is $3,500.

• On June 24, 2016, at around 2:29 a.m., a Cheshire Drive complainant/victim stated to KCSO that someone had stolen two laptop computers, NIKE shoes, ear buds and Bluetooth speakers from his hotel room sometime between 11:30 p.m. and 2 a.m. Both victims are staying in room 302 at the Clarion Inns & Suites, 11312 Campbell Lakes Drive, Farragut. Both victims stated that they did not have any suspect information and that there was no forced entry. The clerk stated that there are security cameras and they would need to be accessed by the manager. Estimated loss is $869.
