• Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union will hold a grand opening celebration from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, for its new Maryville branch at 2325 Market Place Drive with door prizes, giveaways, refreshments and an opportunity to meet the branch’s staff. The Maryville location is a full-service branch providing services such as savings, checking, home and auto loans, certificate accounts and investment options. It features four drive-thru lanes, one ATM lane and extended hours on Wednesday, when it will stay open until 5 p.m. Regular branch hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday.
• South Grove shopping center along Mountain Grove Drive in Knoxville is under new management and is preparing to welcome new retail and hospitality tenants. Annapolis-based Broad Reach Retail partners, shopping growth experts, purchased the center and plans to build out several vacant and existing sites within the complex and recently welcomed a new tenant, Benchmark Physical Therapy.
