‘Let it Shine’ to celebrate Black History
Farragut Museum will host its annual free event in honor of Black History Month beginning at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24, in Farragut Town Hall, 11408 Municipal Center Drive.
Bright Star Touring Theatre, one of the largest professional touring companies in the country, will perform “Let It Shine: The American Civil Rights Movement,” featuring poignant events and notable names of the Civil Rights era. The performance is suitable for those as young as third grade.
A reception and a tour of Farragut Museum begins at 1 p.m.
