Doyle a Town shipping needs solver

InXpress Knoxville Central held a ribbon cutting, hosted by Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce, at the Chamber office along Kingston Pike Thursday, March 14.
A Karns resident, he explained InXpress is a mobile business that goes to the customer. He provides shipping services for international express, air freight, domestic-less-than-truckload, full truckload, e-commerce and import/export, as well as international documentation and centralized tracking services.

“I go to businesses and I can look at their shipping processes and then look at avenues for how they ship: business to business, business to e-commerce or importing,” Doyle said.

He partners with DHL Express, a courier company, and said, “I get very nice discounts for small and medium businesses that bigger companies enjoy, so that helps small and medium businesses, which is very key to the community.

“I’m very pleased that I am able to do that,” he added.

Moreover, “I can do all kinds of freight,” Doyle said. “We have access to two or three different trucking platforms for 60 or 70 carriers at a time, so we can help with domestic freight into Canada or Mexico, and we’ve got some great partnerships with air freight, ocean container, rail — just about anything you want.”

Doyle said he could help businesses with concerns about shipping internationally.

“A lot of companies are intimidated by customs,” he said. “I can fix (a customs situation) before it becomes a problem.”

A U.S. Air Force veteran and previously a nurse for 20 years, Doyle said he decided a year ago to change careers. “I just needed something different,” he said.

“I love it.”

With his InXpress franchise is the only one in the Knoxville area, Doyle said he is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
