Ramp repairs to delay late evening, early morning traffic on North Campbell Station

Town of Farragut released the following road repair notice, which will effect traffic on North Campbell Station Road beginning Monday evening, June 17:

“A pavement failure on Campbell Station Road at I-40/75 (Exit 373) is believed to be a subsurface stormwater issue,” the released stated.

“Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved an emergency contract with Whaley Construction to repair the broken pipe during its Thursday, June 13 meeting. Construction will begin the evening of Monday, June 17. Crews will work nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.,” the statement continued

“During this time, one lane of the westbound ramp from I-40/75 will be closed and traffic on Campbell Station Road under the Interstate will be controlled by flaggers. At 6 a.m., all lanes will open with metal plates covering the construction site.”

As for driver convenience, “expect delays during construction hours and lower their speed while crossing metal plates,” the released stated. “An estimated completion date will be released after work begins.”
