Closing section of Concord Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Aug. 6, Aug. 9-10

A section of Concord Road (State Route 332) near the roundabout at Northshore Drive will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 6, and from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday and Monday, Aug. 9-10, as part of Tennessee Department of Transportation’s widening of the road, a Town of Farragut press release stated.

The closure will allow for drilling required to obtain borehole samples.

Southbound detour from Concord Road to Northshore Drive is Turkey Creek Road to Virtue Road to Boyd Station Road to Harvey/Choto Road to Northshore Drive, the release further stated.

Concord Road is being widened to include two lanes in both directions. The project includes construction of a new bridge and demolition of the existing bridge.
