COVID-19 prevention protocol at FHS Friday

Farragut High School football fans will be required to wear a mask and have their temperature taken before entering (must be below 100.4) — while doing their best to social distance from other fans in light of attendance restrictions — when the Admirals open the 2020 season at Bill Clabo Field against Bradley Central Friday, Aug. 21.

Opening kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

With home side (pressbox side) attendance limited to 2,200 due to COVID-19 prevention restrictions according to Donald Dodgen, FHS athletic director, tickets ($8) are on sale online until midnight today (Thursday) by visiting knoxschools.schoolcashonline.com/Fee/Index/231/False

“When you get in the stadium, (families) will be marked 6 feet apart,” he added.

Concession stands will be open, but all food sold will be “pre-packaged,” Dodgen said.

No students, parents or other fans will be allowed on the field after the game.
