Town Center plans: what do you think works best?

Preliminary plans for a Farragut Town Center at the old Kroger location, across from the Kingston PIke entrance to Farragut High School, are moving along from Town staff and developers to Farragut Municipal Planning Commission and Board of Mayor and Aldermen. A handful of Town citizens commented on plan aspects — primarily sounding off for or against including apartments — as these citizens e-mailed comments to FMPC, which were read during its Thursday, Aug. 20, meeting (see story beginning on page 1A). What do you think about apartments, or anything else that needs to be part of a high-quality Town Center? Is there anything you think might be detrimental to include? For that matter, do you favor the concept of a Town Center? Is the old Kroger/Biddle Farms area an ideal, or at least a good, location?
