• At 12:50 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, a complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a burglary to a vehicle in the parking lot of Cotton Eye Joe’s, 11220 Outlet Drive. Complainant advised she last saw her locked 2018 Jeep Renegade not burglarized in the parking lot around 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13.

Complainant said she walked back to her vehicle around 12:30 a.m. and realized it had been broken into.

A window was damaged to gain entry, and items stolen. Value of damage to the window was listed at $200. Items listed as stolen included a wallet, food stamp card, a MasterCard gift card and a Blue Care insurance card. Total value of stolen items was listed at $267.

Complainant advised she did not notice any damage to the interior of her vehicle and does not know who broke into her vehicle and took the listed items. Complainant said she would be filing an insurance claim with her insurance provider.



• At 3:43 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report his license plate as lost at a Herron Road address. Complainant advised he lost the license plate for his 2017 BMW X3 around 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2. Complainant advised he threw the license plate away by accident when he bought his vehicle. He said he was unaware the license plate had been transferred to the vehicle when he threw it away, and was under the impression he would receive a new license plate.
