Instead of Concord United Methodist Church’s annual Breakfast with Santa event — cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns — organizers instead hosted an old-fashioned Homecoming on church grounds Saturday, Dec. 5.

Concord Brass performed Christmas Carols, homemade apple butter was sold, gift bags were presented to children and adults alike, and Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus also made an appearance.

Church member Becky Bishop said the Fantasy of Trees organization generously donated props for the event.
