• At 8:25 p.m., Sunday, June 27, Knox County Sheriff’s Office units responded to a disturbance at Turkey Creek Medical Center, 10820 Parkside Drive. Hospital staff escorted officers to a patient room.

Victim said the eventual arrestee “had been drinking all day and had gotten angry and struck him in the face with a sandwich, and he had backhanded her, and she left the room,” the KCSO report stated. Arrestee advised she had wanted a hot meal from Walmart. “Victim offered her a sandwich he had gotten from the hospital, (but) she grabbed it and shoved it in his face,” the report stated. “She also advised that he backhanded her, but only out of reflex due to getting hit in the face.”

• At 11:44 a.m., Thursday, June 24, a complainant called KCSO TeleServe Unit to report vandalism at their construction site at Kingston Pike and Admiral Road. Complainant advised “the side slide window” of his Kubota construction equipment “was shattered out by an unknown object,” report stated.
