Northshore Town Center welcomes easyvet

The Northshore Town Center area is expected to have a new veterinary service, easyvet of Northshore, this month at 2040 Town Center Blvd.

“We are planning our grand opening for mid-October,” said Kaela Mast, vice president of marketing for easyvet.

“The grand opening will include the opportunity to meet the team, take a tour, get access to grand-opening savings, have the opportunity to participate in local raffle giveaways and more,” Mast said. “Leashed dogs will be welcome to attend; more information around our ground opening will be coming out shortly.

“We recognized the need for affordable and convenient pet care in a heavily pet-populated area,” she added. “Our support center is located in Knoxville, and having a clinic ‘in our backyard’ was important for our continued growth.

“In addition to providing pet care to the local community, this clinic will also serve as a location where we can provide ongoing training to our teams and welcome potential new hires to see what a day working at easyvet can be like.”

She also said easyvet clinics focus on general practice, such as annual exams, vaccinations, sick visits, preventative care, microchipping, laser therapy and nutrition.

However, “our clinics do not offer surgery which, in turn, provides ... more accessibility to appointments with our doctor and team,” Mast said. “By not offering surgeries, we don’t need as much equipment, which means we can pass those savings on to our clients.”

“We price-check every local veterinary practice to make sure we’re offering you the most affordable rates and packages,” she added. “If a pet needs surgery, we work closely with our partners to refer any emergency or surgery visits to nearby local clinics. Pet parents are able to book an appointment in advance or be added to our walk-in waiting list.

“Easyvet is forward-thinking in technology offerings to pet parents so they can stay well-informed throughout the pet parenthood journey.”

The clinic will be opening with one doctor, a team of vet technicians and assistants and a front desk receptionist.

“As the demand for pet care in Knoxville continues, we will explore opening additional talent opportunities to help create a life/work balance for our staff and alleviate any day-to-day stressors,” Mast said.

Clients can book their visits online at easyvet.com/knoxville, walk-in any time, or join a waitlist.
