On Thanksgiving Day the Town of Farragut was introduced to a new term on the Nextdoor media outlet.

The term “shadow government” was a term most of us in East Tennessee have never heard. This is a term that implies a negative connotation that is made in reference to concerned citizens who speak up on Town issues. This term was used by the Mayor of Farragut. If Farragut is the second best city to live in Tennessee, we should hope for better manners from our Town leader.
