• At 9:40 p.m., Saturday, March 5, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report harassment via electronic communication at a Split Rail Lane address. Complainant advised the suspect has been harassing him via calls and texts between Tuesday, March 1 and March 5. He advised he has asked the suspect to stop contacting him multiple times and has all points of contact blocked. He advised after blocking the suspect, he began receiving countless no-caller ID phone calls from the suspect. Complainant said he doesn’t know what prompted the harassment and advised the suspect just keeps asking him random questions about his life.

• At 6:27, Friday, March 4, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report his wallet was lost at a Thornton Drive address. He advised between 3 and 3:30 p.m., earlier that day his wallet fell off the roof of his vehicle. Unable to locate it, complainant said he wanted to report it due to wallet holding credit/debit cards and Social Security cards belonging to himself and his five children. Total value of loss was listed as $51.

• At 4:09 p.m., March 4, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report fraud/false pretense/swindle at a Mountain Breeze Lane address. Complainant advised the victim, her husband, received a phone call from the suspect on Wednesday, Feb. 23, regarding a video of him crossing the border with $15 million in drugs and a warrant for his arrest. She advised he was told he had to take all of the money out of his bank account and take it to a Bitcoin machine or officers would come to his house and arrest him.

Complainant advised he drove to Home Federal, withdrew $9,000 in cash and then drove to a gas station to pay the suspect via bitcoin. She advised they began to be concerned when they did not receive confirmation of the money being received. Complainant advised they have had all of their accounts frozen as the suspect was given each of their names, addresses, dates of birth and Social Security numbers. She advised they followed up with the bank and were advised to have a police report made.

• At 3:32 p.m., March 4, an officer responded to a disturbance at a Boyd Station Road residence. Victim said her ex-mother-in-law, the suspect, left her a threatening voicemail. Victim played the voicemail and a female said the next time she sees the victim she was going to “stomp her ass.” The victim requested a report be made in case she is assaulted.

• At 6:41 p.m., Thursday, March 3, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a burglary to a vehicle located at a South Watt Road business address. Complainant advised on 03/03/2022 between 5:15 and 5:45 p.m. earlier that day someone broke out the window of his 202 Mazda MX3 to gain entry, though nothing was reported stolen from the vehicle. Value of damage was listed at $500. Complainant advised there is security video for the business located at this address.
