KCSO police reports

• At 10:26 a.m. Saturday, March 19, a Midhurst Drive resident reported a theft to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit. A Sanibel Welcraft fiberglass cabin-style boat, trailer and inboard motor were being stored at a rental property, and had last been seen almost two months ago. The complainant said he drove by the property March 19 and discovered the items were missing. Complainant said he asked the tenants, who stated the items went missing sometime two weeks prior. Complainant provided proof of ownership and the value of the stolen items was listed at $3,150.

• At 9:58 a.m. Monday, March 21, a complainant reported a counterfeit bill had been used to purchase products at a Kingston Pike business. Officer made contact with an employee who provided the bill, the receipt from the transaction and DVD footage from the time of the incident.

• At 6:48 p.m., an Augusta National Way resident reported that sometime between March 22 and the date of the report, person or persons unknown had taken an engagement ring from her dresser. Complainant reported she had construction workers in and out of her home and is uncertain who could have taken the ring. Value of the ring was listed as $14,350.
