The Farragut Parks & Rec Department is offering art classes for all ages and Adult Education presentations this spring at the Farragut Community Center, 239 Jamestowne Blvd.

Painting with Ella: All materials are provided by the instructor. Join one session, a few or all.

Classes begin this Saturday, April 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. and continue during the same time frame April 9, April 23, April 30 and May 14. Prices are $20 and $25 depending on class.

Painting with Durga: Learn to paint in this step-by-step class with instructor Durga. All materials provided by the instructor. Join one session, a few or all.

Classes begin with a seasonal “Bunny” theme on Thursday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and continues on selected Thursdays into June.

How Early Presidents Handled Diversity: 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, in the large classroom; and How to Get Your Book Written, 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, in the Assembly Hall. Both presentations are by former Walters State history professor and author Timothy Holder and are free to attend.
