• At 12:41 p.m., Sunday, March 24, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a motor vehicle theft at a Torrington Court residence. Complainant said his daughter was the driver of his 2018 BMW 4-Series, “and she last parked the … unlocked vehicle with keys inside attached to … keychain wallet” at 12:30 a.m., Sunday. Complainant’s daughter discovered it had been stolen at 9 a.m., Sunday.

Value of loss was listed at $27,025. Complainant said the neighbors have ring camera footage of the vehicle leaving the location at 12:48 a.m. Complainant said he would e-mail pictures and video evidence to be attached to report.

• At 6:56 p.m., March 24, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report fraudulent impersonation at a Maple Tree Drive residence. Complainant advised he received mail from Verizon “stating five accounts were opened using his name and address on (March 16), 2024, and he owed $548.42,” the report stated. “The complainant advised he did not authorize these accounts. and when speaking with Verizon, they told him to make a report.”

• At 8 a.m., Thursday, March 21, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report theft of his license plate from the parking lot of Hampton Inn, 11340 Campbell Lakes Drive. Complainant said the license plate was on his 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck when he parked for the night on Wednesday, March 20.

• At 7:08 a.m., March 21, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a vehicle burglary from a South Campbell Station Road parking lot. Complainant advised an unknown suspect smashed both front windows of her 2020 Toyota RAV 4 and stole items hidden under the passenger seat. Complainant said a nearby Starbucks may have surveillance footage.

Total value of loss was listed at $3,850, which included a Louis Vuitton purse with a listed value of $2,500, a bag with an estimated $600 worth of items and windows damage estimated at $500.

• At 2:48 p.m.,, Monday, March 19, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report vandalism of her 2005 Hyundai Tucson at a Butternut Circle residence. Complainant advised she went outside early that morning and noticed the driver’s side of the listed vehicle vandalized. Complainant advised the known suspect “is who she assumed to have done it, as she has been having issues with her,” the report stated.

Complainant advised the known suspect “wrote words and made lines side-to-side and top-to-bottom on the listed vehicle with what the complainant believes to have been a pen or pencil,” the report stated. No value of damage was listed in the report.
