Osborne’s track-field boys, Lady Ads shine in Farragut Invitational

Other locals also stellar at Bill Parker Track

Four area teams joined Farragut High School to compete in Farragut Invitational Saturday morning and afternoon, April 12, on Bill Parker Track inside Eddie Courtney Stadium.

Plenty of champions and top three finishers came from both the Lady Admirals and FHS boys, along with similar success in certain events for Knoxville Catholic, Webb School of Knoxville, Bearden and Christian Academy of Knoxville.

In addition to other Knox County teams, participants included Oak Ridge and Campbell County high schools.

Retiring FHS head coach Chelsea Osborne was honored for years of service during the Invitational. (See/read details, along with team Senior Day photos, in a future farragutpress issue)
