• At 8:29 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, Knox County Sheriff’s Office units were responding to 1116 Harvey Road (Rocky Top Market) in reference to two people passed out in a Honda Accord.

Prior to officers arrival, E-911 dispatch notified officers that when AMR medical services arrived on scene, the vehicle drove off. One officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop along Rockwell Farm Lane.

While the officer was speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, arrestee/driver and arrestee/passenger, the other officer “deployed K9 Manny for a free air sniff around the listed vehicle and K9 Manny alerted,” the report stated.

“A search of the vehicle revealed .25 grams of cocaine in a brown bag under the passenger seat and 3.0 grams of marijuana in the glove compartment,” the report further stated. “The search also revealed a large quantity of aluminum foil with burnt cocaine residue, a marijuana pipe and cut straws with cocaine residue.

After both subjects were read the Miranda Warning they agreed to further speak with officers. One suspect admitted the cocaine and the cocaine paraphernalia was hers, and male suspect admitted the marijuana was his. Both subjects also advised officers they were recently arrested in Loudon County for the same thing.

Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.

• At 12:39 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, a complainant came to the KCSO Public Records window to report a fraud/false pretense from Truist Bank, 11441 Kingston Pike.

Complainant said her customer “mailed the business a check to pay for services in November 2024,” the report stated. “The check was to be mailed to (a company’s) Crossville branch and ended up at the (company’s) Knoxville branch. The suspect, owner of the Knoxville branch, cashed the check … on Nov. 25, 2024.”

Complainant said the company’s vice president “was in contact with the suspect and he agreed to return the money,” the report further stated.

“As of April 23, the money has not been returned. The complainant (said) there have been multiple similar incidents with the suspect, where he returned the money.

“Complainant said the suspect sold the Knoxville branch in February 2025. The complainant advised she has not attempted contact and left that responsibility to the vice president of that company.”

• At 2:44 a.m., Thursday, April 24, three officers were attempting to effect the arrest of a subject when he resisted officers.

Suspect “attempted to get back in his car,” the report stated. “He was removed from the vehicle and, while on the ground, refused to roll over or put his hands behind his back.”

After multiple instructions to do so, suspect “was warned he would be tased if he did not comply,” the report further stated. “Not complying, (officer) delivered a drive-stun to (suspect’s) lower right side of his torso. After this, suspect said, “Alright, I’ll give you my arms” He was placed in wrist restraints and arrested.

• At 9:30 a.m., April 24, a complainant called KCSO West Precinct to report vandalism at McFee Park, 917 McFee Road.

Complaint said the McFee Park locked gate entrance was damaged at some point during the night. Because the video system was not operational, complainant is unsure, but believes the vandalism was committed by a driver’s vehicle.

Complainant said the following was damaged: electronic steel gate caved inward; the internal action arm brackets; magnet system; and metal posts.

At this report’s release, there were no known suspect(s).
