FWKCC Business EXPO a success

About 500 turned out to find out more about local businesses during Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce’s Business EXPO, which occurred in Rothchild Catering & Conference Center, 8807 Kingston Pike, Wednesday, March 23.

“Great day at the Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce Business Expo 2025,” a Josh Hemphill State Farm-Powell representative said. “We enjoyed talking to each and every person who visited our booth and had a great time letting everyone know how Josh Hemphill State Farm can help them.”

“I had a great time at the Business Expo yesterday,” said Dr. Joel Ash with Ash Chiropractic in Farragut. “Thank you to the Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce for putting on a great event.”

“We had an amazing time at the Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce Business EXPO 2025 yesterday,” stated an e-mail from Junk Galaxy. “Thank you to all the Chamber staff and volunteers who made it happen.”

“As far as myself, my team and volunteers who worked the event, as well as remarks from our board and participating boothholders, it went very well,” FWKCC president/CEO Julie Blaylock said. “We had 81 booths register and still had a waiting list of businesses hoping to get in last minute.

“We estimate that attendance was on par with last year, averaging 500 or so, but we did notice an increase in attendees who were not Chamber members based on who was in the room, as well as businesses and individuals we had not seen in quite a long time,” she added. “Multiple vendors whom we checked on throughout the event shared that they felt their booth traffic was increased from last year, which we’re very happy about.”

Additionally, Blaylock said, “We noted that starting the event one hour earlier, closer to lunch, seemed to generate an early arrival of more attendees and that kept energy going throughout the event.

”Several attendees I spoke to stayed for upward of two to three hours,” she added.

“Multiple people commented that the event was ‘fun.’ ‘well-attended,’ and many also commented on being able to reconnect with contacts they had not seen in a very long time, as well as the diversity of businesses who participated.”
