Board, council, committee meetings updated
Now that Farragut Town Hall (11408 Municipal Center Drive) has reopened, several volunteer advisory committees, councils and boards, as well as Board of Mayor and Aldermen, will resume meeting there, according to a Town press release.
“Some committees meet irregularly or only when needed,” the release stated. “Find agendas for upcoming meetings (on the Town’s website) in the Agenda Center. To learn more about Town volunteer advisory committees,visit townoffarragut.org/committees.
The following are times and locations for meetings that have returned to Town Hall:
• Board of Mayor and Aldermen begin at 6 p.m. on second and fourth Thursdays of each month in the first floor Boardroom;
• Board of Plumbing & Gas/Mechanical Examiners at 5 p.m. the second Tuesday, as needed, in Suite 210 (Hartford Room), second floor;
• Board of Zoning Appeals at 7 p.m. the fourth Wednesday, as needed, in the Boardroom;
• Farragut Education Relations Committee at 4 p.m. the first Monday as scheduled (see website for dates) in Suite 102 (Admiral Room, located on the second floor;
• Farragut Municipal Planning Commission at 6 p.m. the third Thursday, in the Boardroom;
• Stormwater Advisory Committee at 3:45 p.m. the second Thursday, as needed, in Suite 210 (Hartford Room);
• Beer Board takes place prior to Board of Mayor and Aldermen meetings, as needed, in the Boardroom;
• Tree Board meets quarterly, as scheduled, in Suite 210 (Hartford Room);
• Visual Resources Review Board at 6 p.m. the fourth Tuesday, in the Boardroom. However ...
• Arts & Beautification Committee, Farragut Tourism/Visitor Advisory Board and Parks & Athletics Council will continue to meet in Farragut Community Center (239 Jamestowne Blvd.).
