41st Annual Bob Watt Fishing Rodeo May 10
Spaces are filling up for 41st Annual Bob Watt Fishing Rodeo, which takes place Saturday, May 10, in Anchor Park, 11730 Turkey Creek Road.
Youth ages 12 and under have been invited to the rodeo for a morning of fishing and competing for prizes, according to a Town press release.
“The event will include two rounds of fishing, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and from 9 to 10 a.m.,” the release stated. “Prizes will be awarded after each round.”
Limited bait and fishing poles are available for use during the event, according to the Town press release.
“Poles will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis,” the release stated. “Participants are encouraged to bring their own poles and are welcome to bring their own bait.”
The Fishing Rodeo will be held rain or shine. However, in the case of severe inclement weather, check Farragut Parks & Recreation social media for the status of the event.
