Art students from Farragut’s four public schools shined a light on their talents, which were on exhibit while the community enjoyed a soup dinner to help raise money for Fish Hospitality Pantries. This was all part of Shared Visions Student Art Exhibit and Empty Bowls in the Commons of Farragut High School, 11237 Kingston Pike, Thursday night, April 3.

Students from kindergarten through high school senior made ceramic bowls, which were then fired by FHS art class. Those bowls were then sold at the event as part of attendees’ dinner packages and/or independently.

At the exhibit, high school students walked around — some dressed as noted artists from the past. After performances by Farragut Middle School Orchestra and FHS Jazz Band, winners of the exhibit were announced, with the Best of Show award going to Farragut senior Nick Snyder for his ceramic entry, “Society of Cones.”
